Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Clermont Fla.

Hello everyone!

We are Richard and Lynn from Clermont Fl.  We are mid 40's, youngest kid is in college. Will be fulltiming in May, but pretty much staying in one location for the first 2 years. Hubby is taking a military assignment in the DC area.

Been following Howard and Linda's blog from pretty much the beginning. And had the wonderful opportunity to meet them when they were staying down the road from us at a state park last year. Wonderful people!

Thats it for us!

Hi Richard and Lynn,

It's really great to see other 40-somethings out there planning to full-time soon. We are hoping to be among the class of 2007, but there's just so much to do and so little time we may not make it until 2008. We were in the Clermont area last fall visiting relatives. It's a small world! It must have been a real treat for you to have met Howard and Linda. They have been very inspirational to us and I hope we too will get to meet them in the future.

We wish you all the best and safe travels.

We're in The Villages, FL, not far from you.  Do you have your RV yet?  What is it or what is it going to be?  Will you continue fulltiming with the military job is done?  What do your  kids say?  We're still considering fulltiming.  We're 59 and 60 and were in boating on the Great Lakes for 17 years so didn't see much of the country other than the shores of Michigan and Canada.  We moved down here a year ago November but have the urge to travel and see things and experience what's around the next bend in the road.  We think we both have "gypsy blood" in our veins.  Have you met or talked to other fulltimers?  We've been looking at Class A's at Independence RV down the road from you.
