Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Check out George Lehr's website: Tioga and George, Vagabonders Supreme. George winters in Mexico and if you send him a e-mail, I'm sure he'd give you great advice.
Also, you need to purchase a rider on your insurance for Mexico.
Good luck, hey BTW, your website is great!
Best Regards!

Just got the 2007 Woodalls and it has a whole section on Baja campgrounds. Haven't read into it too deeply yet, but that is something that the DH and I have been talking about doing once we start fulltiming. I noted that it was there for future use. Please let us all know what you find out, maybe we can get an RV-Dreams caravan down the Baja!
The Church's camping books are the ones that everyone I know uses. http://www.rollinghomes.com/ is their website and you can get the books from Amazon.com. They have a separate one on the Baja and one on all of Mexico. I know from experience that their Alaska camping book was far superior to any other guide.

Thanks for all the tips. we picked up the Woodall's at Camping World yesterday and will order the Church's book as soon as we settle long enough to have it shipped. Fred
Since we are going to spend next winter in the Southwest we are going to get the Church's book on that area. Do you know of a good book that would cover the Dakota's, Wyoming, and Montana. We hope to spend most of the summer there.
