Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Well Hello

Hi I am Tab and my wife is Deanna, we are part of the graduating class of fulltimers which Howard and Linda are a part of. I just found the site and knew I had to sign up! We started fulltiming in May of 05 and spend the winter in Quartzsite. Currently we are on a cash rebuilding/workamping position for a while in Ohio.

Howard and Linda have done such a great job of creating a page for many to follow. Thanks for all the fantastic info you guys supply to so many people. :)

Hi Tab & Deanna!

Welcome!  Our little website has changed quite a bit since I first made contact with you back in '05.

For others reading this, Tab is being modest about being "part of the graduating class of fulltimers" 2005.  They pretty much organized the group and were very instrumental in starting the idea of full-timing graduating classes through the Escapees RV Club.

Now graduating classes have their own forums and Birds Of A Feather (BOF) groups through Escapees.  In fact, two of our own RV-Dreams Community members have played MAJOR roles in organizing the Class of 2006.

So Tab & Deanna, it is an honor to have you guys on this Forum and I'm sure you will be imparting lots of knowledge and information to the members here.  It's a great group.

Welcome, Tab and Deanna!

I'm sure you'll have a great time here on this forum.  I appreciate the tips I've learned from you already and look forward to learning more.

It was a great time at Quartzsite last Janaury, wasn't it?  For those who don't know, Tab extended an invitation to me and my bonnie bride, Marti, even though we are not yet fulltiming.  We got to meet all the 2005 grads and they welcomed us with open arms and Escapee hugs, and answered all kinds of questions we had about RV's and Fulltiming.  It was a wonderful time, put our minds at ease that "we really can do this".

It was worth every one of the 5500 miles (round trip) that we drove to get there.

Hope OH weather isn't too hard on you both!

Best Regards!

  Hey  Tab & Deanna

Welcome to RV-Dreams. I see from the previous posts you are part of the 2005 class. We just joined the class of 2007 and we will begin our adventure in July. Hope to see you guys on the road and perhaps at Q in 2008. Keep the Faith    Tom

Ah shucks, you guys are making me blush . I always enjoy forums and meeting new people. We met Paul and his lovely wife in Quartzsite last year and it was great to do so. Then when we were in Florida this past March, Howard and Linda invited us to dinner while we were there but unfortunately we were time pinched and could not make it. But we will in the future. Thanks again for the offer and keeping contact. Howard and Linda have made a strong presence on the Rv'ing scene with first their well put together website and now doing conferences at LOW's. Then to top it off they offer this forum! So thanks to all of you for the kind words and welcomes. Hope I can help someone out here at some time. Happy travels!

Hi Tab,

After reading about your nephew's restaurant Nozzlehead's in Chandler (from your blog), my husband and I ate there on one of forays to PHX (D'yknow the difference in PHX and H*%#?  3 degrees!) When we go there we often do that "Where do you wanna eat?  I don't know.  Where do you wanna eat?"  That time we went armed with the address and name and had a great fish sandwich.  Thanks for the info.

Wow Judy, that is cool! It would actually be my cousin but it doesn't matter. Thanks for stopping and glad you liked it. They have worked real hard to get it going. I'm just suprised that someone actually reads my blog!
