Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New full timers After Oct 20, 2006

Hello,

From South Dakota. My wife (Sandy) and I are both retired. I worked for the Water Dept in Pierre, SD for 30 years retireing in April of 99 as Assit- Supt.

My wife retired in 2003 after 36 years in Dept of Motor Vechiles State of South Dakota.

We have decided to go full time Rv'ing as our house has sold and camper is all packed.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Earl Truxton

Earl,

As a long time wannabee and an avid reader of Howard and Linda's journal and this forum, you can't do much better than scan through the forum and the journal entries. You will find much to ponder and a lot of help.

Safe travels.

Congratulations Earl and Sandy!

Sandy, I'll bet you are one of those wonderful SD DMV people who treats customers like human beings! We loved our DMV experience in Rapid City. We walked in and had our actual picture licenses in 45 minutes.

We wish you the best and welcome all your questions.
