Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We Will Always Remember

Sept.11th,2006

May we never forget this date.

I have stayed 'glued' to the TV this morning watching all the memorial services honoring 9/11. As five years ago, I could not pull myself away from the TV. All the images that I saw that morning. I remember calling my husband at work and yelling in the phone, turn on your TV!  Look whats happening to our country! I remember picking up my young children from school, thinking how was I going to explain this all to them.

Many tears were shed in the weeks to follow 9/11 by our family. Tears were shed by me again this morning.

I don't want to ever forget!!! I don't want my children to forget. I don't want our nation to forget!

So I just had to say this today. I know it has nothing to do with RV-ing. But yet is does. We all live in a country where we are free! Free to enjoy whatever wonderful lives we choose to live.

Let us support our troops. Never forget them! Keep them in your prayers. Never forget today. Pass it on to little ones so that they will learn and remember. So they won't ever forget!

Remember to give smiles and hugs. Do something special for a neighbor, a friend, even a stranger.Take extra time today to show your family how much you love them! Be proud to be an American. Do these things today.  Do these things everyday!!!!

You never know what today or tomorrow brings!

God Bless America!

Ann and Tom

I will only add to that beautiful post.  Let us not forget that the RV-Dreams Community extends beyond the borders of the United States, and many other countries lost innocent people on that horrible day.  Let us remember our world-wide friends that suffered along with us.
