Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Intro Paul and Bonnie

Hi Everyone. This is another good idea Howard.
Paul and I got our feet wet three years ago with a 26 ft tag along. Paul promised we would travel when we retire so I said, "prove it." and he did! We started out cheap and simple just in case we didn't like it. Well, we loved traveling and staying in campgrounds. RVers are the nicest people on earth!! While we traveled we were researching all types of fifth wheels. When I couldn't find Paul, I knew he was in someone's fifth wheel and asking a million questions of the owners. We were camping in Watkins Glen New York when we saw a Titanium Fifth Wheel for the first time. We talked to the owners and got their opinion about it and they were kind enough to let us tour their home on wheels. They bought it in Daytona which happened to be our next stop. So we went to the same dealer and made a deal that same summer. We bought a 33 ft. Titanium Fifth Wheel. It is just big enough for the two of us and Gizmo, our long haired Chihuahua. If the campground doesn't take Gizmo, we don't go! He doesn't mind staying in the fifth wheel when we can't take him with us as long as we leave the air conditioner on. Gizzy is a canine good citizen and he gets along well with everyone. We have been staying in campgrounds along the East coast for the last three years. When we retire we will have everything paid for and will have the retirement funds to travel all we want to. We are looking forward to that opportunity. We will use our home in Florida as a home base. (We will winter in Florida) We will travel West when we retire in five years. We want to have plenty of time to enjoy it for as long as we want. We look forward to hear about your adventures in Texas Howard and Linda.
We enjoy using our Townies to bike around the campgrounds but we really love using our TRIKKEs. You have to see them to understand them. It is very hard to use the TRIKKEs in mountain counrty though. We can climb the little hills in Florida with them, but forget the hills in the mountains. This Florida girl doesn't have the lungs to make those hills on a TRIKKE.
We look forward to reading all the post on this site.
