Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hang in there do your physical therapy and speech and things will improve. They have made so many advancements in stroke care.

Dang, Edd.  Sounds like the month of March just isn't your month.

Seriously, hang in there and follow the doctor's advice.  I have a friend that had a stroke some time back, and he's in his 50's.  He seems to be doing just fine.  You can probably do likewise.

Well at least getting a little better speaking again; I have to still find when others have to conversing with them.! I have a one day LPN on Monday and a Speech Therapist on Tuesday!

I also have April 8th on a Neurologist with a NMRI scan to look how my Blood clot is getting better. I have had on Plavix since 03/12/2020! Pray and wish me good!

Somewhere back between 2003 and 2005, the wife had chest pains and had to be taken to the hospital.  They couldn't put in a stent because the issue was right at a bend in a small blood vessel in the back of the heart, so they did an angioplasty to spread it out and clear the clot.  Since then, she has always been on Plavix, and other than that she bruises easily, she has been fine.  She was in her 50's at the time, so it spooked me pretty good.

Then in 2009, we were on vacation near Pagosa Springs, CO and she, her oldest sister and the brother-in-law and I went on a day trip to Mesa Verde.  We had walked down to see one of the ruins up close and personal.  As we were climbing back out of the canyon on the paved trail, I got to thinking.  Both her sister, her husband, and my wife had had heart procedures.  All the way up, I kept checking on the three of them to see how they were doing.  There's no way I could have carried any of them back up that trail.

But, wife is doing fine, but she keeps saying that I'm next for the major heart issue.  She went to her heart doctor one day and for a change, I went back to the exam room with her.  Her doctor took one look at me and said, "Looks like I'll be working on you next."

So far, so good.  I'm doing fine, and the wife and I tend to walk at least 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 miles most every day.  What with the "social distancing," we aren't doing much other than taking that walk to stay in shape and healthy.

So, hang in there, Edd.  You've got this.

Still hanging in there! My LPN will be here on Tuesday and my Speak-Therapist on Weds. Sure is a bummer to not drive my truck. I go on the Neurologist for my NMRI; maybe Good Luck will get Gold Rush yet!
Sure hope this blood clot will hold the Plavix to shrink the Clot! TY!
