Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
The Ridge is a brand new RV Resort brought to us by the folks that provided us such wonderful service at River Plantation RV Resort over the past several years. River Plantation is great, but this new facility promises to be even better.
We will once again have RV Driving School providing "behind the wheel" driving lessons (additional fee) and we are working on securing a weighing service to wheel-by-wheel RV weighing (also an additional fee). And we will have RV Insurance Benefits who will do a seminar on Health Insurance & Medicare Updates & Options For RVers.
As usual, we are not handling reservations for the RV Sites or other accommodations. But we have set aside 60 RV sites (all paved and ranging from 62 - 100 feet with full hook-ups) and have secured discounted rates.
In addition, The Ridge has 5 Tiny Home Cabins and 8 Glamping Safari Tents on-site. Those will go fast, so if you don't yet have an RV (20% - 30% of our attendees don't have RVs), don't wait too long to snag one of those.
Reservations need to be made directly with The Ridge AFTER you have registered for the Rally. Please read the information page carefully.
Looking forward to seeing you there and having a great time!!
I am here in Sevierville now, We received a lot of rain over the last week and there was flooding in areas, mainly on secondary rds. Douglas Lake water level came up 28ft, being over 18 miles long... That's huge. The Ridge RV park will have no issues being it sits on a hill.
