Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Replacing my 3.5 year old Interstate GC2-XHD-UTL 232 Ah Batteries

I'm looking to replace my 8 existing batteries in my all electric bus.  I want to upgrade to a maintenance free series.  Looking for sound suggestions of a "fair" priced battery that has had good lasting power.  I need to do a quick buy since my existing batteries are really in bad shape (just bought the bus).  Recommendations??  Napa, Duracell, Interstate, Trojan????

I have Full River and at 3 years old they seem to be doing fine.

I have Lifeline AGM batteries. Zero maintenance and can be mounted upside down if necessary. They don't off gas so less of that to deal with. I think that the Full River batteries that el Rojo mentioned are also AGM batteries.

Big fan of Lifeline AGMs. They are pricey, but great performance.

Thanks to all...I've been off-line deep inside the Smokey's....wound up just getting NAPA's Deep Cell GC's....they are doing great, and NAPA was outstanding with a Military Discount option....Wound up getting some quality Batt's for a very low price...Won't be owning this bus for more than 24 months, so it's a sound option considering the price, warranty and life-span of the batt's. And you are all right - Lifeline's are seriously NICE!!! $$'s were to much for my pockets.
