I'm a barbecue fanatic. It's not an everyday thing but I like using a charcoal smoker to cook critter. My Weber Smoky Mountain smoker will be a casualty of the divestiture necessary to get this lifestyle going. So help me out here, please. Are any of them worth more than a nickel?
I. Must. Have. Barbecue.

We use an electric smoker when we are at a location where we will be set up for more than week or so. It's by MasterBuilt and is the size of a mini-refrigerator. We set it on the picnic table at our site.
It works great. Good smoke flavor in meat, vegetables and my favorite Mac & Cheese.
One 4th of July we smoked the following at the same time in this smoker:
4 full racks of the large pork ribs
2 Whole Chickens
1 Family Size Stouffers Mac & Cheese
8 ears of corn put in for the last 10 minutes.
Everything was great

Thanks, man!!!
Any experience, even just watching, with a table-top charcoal smoker? I use charcoal. It's what I prefer,
Since there are a lot of stops that won't allow charcoal, I use a Smoke Hollow when traveling. Yes it's gas. It has two burners plus one dedicated to a smoke tray that you put chips or saw dust in. I'm a wood and charcoal guy so this was a big step for me. It makes as good a ribs and pulled pork as I can do on my 22-1/2" Weber Kettle or my Char-Griller offset smoker/BBQ. I also have a Weber Q1000. It is a great little grill..........for a gas grill. The main thing I use it for is as a griddle. I remove the grilling grate/s and set a one piece griddle on it and I can cook for the whole camp! And in all fairness, it does grill an 80/20 burger to perfection.........but not much else.
