Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Really enjoying being able to call on the guys hear that run a similar set up as I will be running. I will pick up the truck and 5th wheel next month and head back to Texas. Once home and familiar with the set up I will weigh everything and fine tune my air pressures. For the trip home would you guys that run the same equipment share with me what air pressures you are running on truck and RV. (See signature) The NH of course will have 17.5" H rated tires and should be around 23,000 to 24,000 lbs loaded. I have always been a stickler on my tire pressures and like to weigh and fine tune to avoid if possible being needlessly over inflated to avoid too harsh a ride but definitely want to have myself covered. I can go with posted rates but assume that will be over inflated to a degree. Would appreciate hearing from those with the Ram 5500 Hauler truck and similar or same 5th wheel.

Greg, PM me your email and I will be happy to send you the tire charts for the G114 Tires and the Ram. (The Ram charts are in the manual.) Don't know the loaded weight of the NH but 115 is way more then enough if its a triple axle - 7K or 8K axle if you don't have known weights. Actually more like 100 psi under many conditions like ours. At 110 psi the tire is rated at 4,340 lbs which is much greater then the axle spindle / hub rating which is either 3,500 or 4,000 lbs depending on 7 or 8K axles.
Don't get too excited about the G114's. They are very forgiving and the 110-115 is totally safe if you don't have a individual scale weight yet. We have 55,000+ logged miles on our current set of G114 tires and they are still a long way from replacement. Flat across wear and I run 100-105, which by the chart is actually high.
The Ram charts may show you something like high 80's depending on your pin weight. Having said that, I found the wear on my tires (30,000 now) was better in the 92 range especially the front even though they are lightly loaded. But I'll send you the charts and you can decide for yourself.

Edited to correct a rating number. Thanks Ron for the catch. Yea, wrong row. Regardless, at 110 psi the tire is inflated to more then the 8K axle / hub / spindle is rated.

We are a little heavier than you guys. Loaded we are at about 27,200
So I run between 115-120 in each trailer tire. Tire wear after 15,000 looks great so far.
In the truck I run 95# our pin weight is just under 7,000#
Wear also looks great so far.
And all tires run within 5 degrees in temperature

Not an NH, but our triple axle DRV weighs in at 24800. I run 105 in all 6 tires- 3 8k axles. Heaviest tire carries 34XX lbs. So we are still slightly overpressured, but my temps stay lower.
Our NH is about the same weight and we run 105-107 cold in the tires. The RAM 5500 we run 95-98. Those numbers give us plenty of space on the tire rating at various pressures and a comfortable ride.
