Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Liz and I are excited about seeing everyone at the rally. This is our first RV trip this far west. We plan to remain in the Central/Southern California area through the end of May. I would like a few suggestions on times to spend in various areas. This was my initial thoughts,
1. Remaining a couple of days in Pahrump to visit Death Valley. 2. Moving to Lemon Cove, Ca for a week to see Sequoia & Kings Canyon 3. 2 weeks at the entrance to Yosemite in Groveton. 4. A week in the Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area 5. Move to Palm Springs for a week to see Joshua Tree and the area. 6. We have an additional week or so to tweak the trip.
We are Coast to Coast and Thousand Trails members and have parks available in these areas. We are planning to drive up to 80-100 miles to see sites in the areas. I wish we had more time, but we have a difficult time staying away from the Gkids in Houston for much longer than 2 months. Any thoughts and insights will be appreciated.
Looking forward to seeing old acquaintances and meeting new ones,
We are currently in Kingman, AZ and will be rolling in tomorrow afternoon. We have not kept in touch with anyone from our previous rally but we may hopefully recognize a few folks. Really looking forward to making friends that we can look forward to seeing somewhere on the road. That is such a fun part of this lifestyle. Until tomorrow....
