Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

South of the Border Camping

So while we are currently sitting here is warm Southwest FL we are giving thoughts as to where we might spend some time next winter. A couple of the other camp hosts here have started talking about the possibility of going to Mexico. This idea has some appeal to us and we have just started to do some research. So we are reaching out to all of you for any thoughts, tips or experiences that you can share with us. Any good blogs you know of about camping in Mexico?

Anything you can provide will be greatly appreciated!

Mike

RV Dreamer Russ Ranger regularly stays in Mexico during the winter. Check out his blog.. www.grandbanksruss.blogspot.com When ever I swing by to read it, I get a bit jealous.... and inspired.

I must admit that I have been lazy this Winter. I haven't been writing much lately. We are busy sitting in the sun, listening to great live music and enjoying good food.

There seems to be more RV'ers in Mazatlan than ever. The 4 RV parks in our neighborhood seem pretty full, so I imagine that their are several hundred happy campers down here enjoying their Winter.

The weather reports we see from the states look just awful this Winter. It will be in the high 70's to low 80's this week in our area.

Kevin and Ruth Read have my favorite Facebook page regarding Mexico: RV'ing in Mexico. It has very current information and is a good way to gain some knowledge about RV'ing down South.

This is our fourth Winter as snowbirds here in Mexico.... we're still loving it.
