Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

biggrin Just an Early Happy Thanksgiving!! great to be on the top side of the dirt! I arrived here at my daughter and son-in-laws in Grandville Michigan to celebrate the holiday with them. A first since the Thanksgiving of 2007 if my old brain recollects! Going to have the dinner a day or so early and then setup and decorate the Christmas tree Yes will go by fast as will be going back to Tn. on Saturday the 26th!! confuseconfuse

Linda and I too, have a lot to be thankful for this year as we've both had some very serious health problems lately.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We're spending ours in Tucson this year, without any family around this year. So I found an "all in one" recipe for a fairly simple Thanksgiving casserole that we're trying this year. After cooking Thanksgiving dinner in our rig a couple of times, we decided it was time to simplify the cooking this year since it's only the 2 of us, so who knows, we may have time for a bike ride on turkey day since we won't spend a ton of time in the kitchen.

A lot to be thankful for this year over Thanksgiving as my big "chore" for the weekend is evaluating a couple of job offers that have come in and make a decision on my next remote, work from home job.

Happy Thanksgiving to Ed and everyone else as well.

It will be difficult for us this year.  Our youngest son had surgery about a month ago or so ago and Jo is down there to help take care of him.  Even though he is 44 years old, he has never gotten married.  So, she is in Oklahoma City while I am holding down the fort here at the retreat center in Oregon.  He is doing fine now and she will fly home on December the 3rd.  They will do lunch together there, and I've been invited to lunch tomorrow with our bosses.

If anyone is traveling, stay safe.

Just the two of us for dinner, catered by Costco and Trader Joe's. Turkey breast, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pecan pie for dessert. Diane's pies are too large for two and use too much water to clean up, since we have no sewer here. We are in Morgan Hill CA. We did try to match up with cousins for Thanksgiving, but they asked us to come the weekend before as many were scattering after the big meal. We did have a good visit, though it was sad to have lost both my mother and my uncle (the cousins father) in the last few months. The campground is not having a dinner, so that was not an option.

Tomorrow, Black Friday, we will venture out after noon. We find that things are much quieter after noon, the crazies are mostly in the morning. Not looking for much.

Happy Thanksgiving to all from South of border. Our traditional dinner here is coconut shrimp. It is a better match to the 80 degree temperature we have in Mazatlan. Time for a swim as it is getting warmer.

Life is good and we are blessed to be enjoying our retirement.
