Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Royce here, living in Colorado. Have a '77' Minuet towed by a Jeep Wrangler, Used about 35-40 nights per year in the trees and to visit aging parents in SD and WY. Currently, make my living in an IT field but my employer will not let me work remotely. By night I build custom furniture you can see some of my work here www.spearfishcreek.net and occasionally view the night sky using a 12" Dobsonian. I have been following various fulltimer sites for about 8 years now and envy those of you that have managed to make the change. In a perfect world, my Bride and I could have taken to the roads while she was still on this earth, but that was not to be. While stuck in the sticks and stucco home I have taken up Ballroom dancing, with the intent to compete. Ballroom dancing is a good way to stay active and help with mental clarity for an old guy. Far too many hobbies to list, some that don't lend themselves well to RV travel. Still, the open road calls, I sure enjoy seeing the sights this great country has to offer and meeting new people. As beautiful as this country is I think the people are better. Well, except for that one old grump I met.
I'm sure you can make it happen. We are on a five year plan to get going. Seems like with your back ground you could come up with a way to take it on the road. Nice wood work!
