Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Got a phone call last friday from the dealership and yes...... my custom made motorcycle trailer will arrive sept 19th, we will leave our campground on the 27th to go and pick it up a 3 hours drive, I'm anxious to see it. Beside this fact my wife has only 5 days of work she will be officially retired sept 16th. Our plan remain the same we will cross the border oct 31st for our maidden voyage.
A little jealous because we have to wait 15 more months to start our travels but glad to hear your adventure starts soon. Imagine a winter with no snow or ice storms!!! If your travels ever bring you out west there are some amazing rides in Alberta and BC through the Rockies and the fabulous twists through southeastern BC. We have an Electra Glide in the garage if you need a guide in Alberta ;). Congratulations on both of your retirements and have a great winter travelling.

Thanks,
We have planned to go back west in fact my first posting with the RCMP was St-Albert, Alberta. BTW don't be jealous your time will come faster than you think.
Thanks Debbie, like I said I will post some pics as soon as possible. No blog for me for the first year I'm worry that it will take too much of our time to feed but I've created a page from my FB account name Jean & JoJo on the Go. we will this media for quick message and pictures while travelling to let know friends and family where we are. On the other hand I'm still on RVillage and will also feed my page.
Maybe we will see this winter in between Louisianna & Texas.
Congrats and good luck with this next stage in your lives. If you do happen to make it back to Alberta before nomorsno joins us all on the road look them up. We'd never met but they invited us to go ATVing with them and we're fabulous hosts!

Thanks Dianne & Steve. We dont't intend to go back in Alberta this year but depending of our choice of destination for winter 2018 we will go through Alberta & BC. If we decided to travel Alaska, the Rockies & west coast of the USA we will take our 12 months that you are aloud every 7 years, therefore this will give us a total of 18 months for 2018.
