Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Full Time Date Sure Comes Quick

Well, it's here. I guess I'll have to stop complaining when yous guys rub my nose in it. The truck, errrr, I mean motor home is basically done, the fiver is in front of the house and we are in the final stages of preparation. We will do a fully loaded weekend on Labor Day and test for the kick off of the "Kids Will Be Kids, again" tour at the end of September.  The kickoff weekend includes a ZZ Top concert at Avila Beach, CA. November and December will be Denver, CO with the kids and grandkids. Jan thru March probably Alabama with other family.

I used to say my biggest challenge at retirement was transitioning to a life of leisure but, after working 24/7 sunday thru friday for the past two years, I believe my biggest challenge will be to get out of bed each day. One thing is certain, I will be enjoying every minute. Even the bad will be wonderful. Bring on the bad neighbors, screwed up electrical connection, and icky water. This smile is permanently afixed.

I'm thinking the same as Bill...Denver in November/December. Congratulations on making it to full-timing and hope you enjoy your adventure. Be sure to get a wall clock that tells you what day of the week it is wink

Thank you for your service.

Yeah, Denver... It is at 5000 ft... That puts us above most of the cold weather. Geez, where did you guys go to skool?

Seriously, kids and grandkids for the holidays. It's been a long long time.

That's really great and I loved the "kids will be kids again" tour. It's heady stuff that's for sure. All the best, have a blast.
