Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello.... We are Mark and Lauree. Currently signed up for the 2017 RV-Dreams Spring Rally. Here is a little about us. We are both in our mid 50's been married for 33 years. I am retired, Lauree is a Realtor and will be retired by the end of this year, I hope. We have 2 grown kids with 2 grandkids, one from each child. Twins to be born tomorrow 8-29-2016. We bought our 33ft 1997 Airstream Land Yacht Motorhome in Jan 2011. Went on a 5 month trip Mid May 2011 thru Mid Oct 2011. 8000 Miles and had an absolute blast. A few other 1-3 month trips 2012 thru 2015. 2016 has just been short week and weekend trips. The REALTOR is working too much. lol. 2017 we have plans of going back to longer trips. We are going to 2 Good Sam Samboreee Rallies . Waco Texas end of March 2017, then Shreveport Louisiana the very next week. Come back home for couple weeks then start our 4-6 week trip to include the RV-Dreams Spring Rally set for May 8th. If you are not signed up yet and have not been to one. I hear they are fantastic. Hope to meet lots of new RV friends. Especially love to meet Fulltimers and wannabe Fulltimers like us. Ever since our 5 month trip I have been really wanting to fulltime. Lauree not so much but loves our long trips, but likes coming home to a home, family and friends. She has lately coming over to the fulltimer side and we are talking about it. Selling the house has been mentioned a few times and she even said "Lets sell this or that because we won't need it when we are fulltiming. Huh? . Ok thats all for now. If you are in the area of Houston (east, west, north or south) give us a shout out and would love to meet ya. Thanks.

We used to live south of Houston and still go back for doctor visits. We just left the area and are staying at a COE park near Jasper TX. We are full timers and lovin' the life! Good luck and have fun.
JayC Thanks for saying hi. I love reading full timers blogs. I will check yours out. We just moved my Aunt to Hemphill. We Used to own 10 acres on Tole do Bend. I know the area well. Had fishing lure hook removed from back of my head at Jasper hospital ER about 30 years ago. Haha My wife snagged me while we were fishing on Toledo Bend.

We have a 1997 Airstream Land Yacht motorhome. Drives like a dream as long as flat road. Mountains are a killer. Bought it January 2011. We tow our 2006 Nissan Altima.
