Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Any tips on finding RV parks with cabins or hotels?

We're planning a spring break with extended family next year in the Tucson area so I started looking for RV parks that have either cabins or hotels available.  Any tips on how to locate those kind of resorts, especially ones that allow kids in a region that have a LOT of 55+ age restrictions?  So far one of the few I've found is KOA and I'm not a big fan of KOA, plus the prices are a bit steep.   I know Howard & Linda find RV resorts with hotels / cabins for the rallies, we personally have stayed at a few in CA/WA/ID but I've never actively tried to find one before and am not having a lot of luck in AZ.

Any suggestions?

Friends of ours owned a park model at Palm Creek Golf and Rv in Casa Grande and there were units that were available for rent. I believe they were weekly or monthly only. There are different sections that allowed pets and others with no pets. Children were welcome as visitors as it is a 55+ park. Very large park with lots of things to do. Maybe try calling to see if that's still available because we visited 3 years ago and may have changed. Worth a shot perhaps.

It seem like many of the private RV Resorts and parks are beginning to add cabins to their mix of accommodations.

In rvparksreview.com if you open up the amenities section to show all it list cabins/tents/yurts if a park has them.

An alternative would be to look for a service that delivers and sets up RVs something like this www.sharemycoachmesaaz.com/
