Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Kent and Sandy

Hello from Lubbock, Texas.  My husband and I just sold our business and are now getting the house ready to sell and getting rid of 30 years of "stuff".  Then we will be full timing it.  We currently have a truck camper but will be looking for a 5th wheel once the house sells.  I don't think I can full time in the small confines of the truck camper.  disbelief Looking forward to getting to know everyone.  Thanks

Hello and welcome! Good luck on the sale of your home! I agree a truck camper is probably too small for full time living!

Howdy and welcome from another Texan. We've been full timing for about 8 years now and loving every minute of it. Good luck with the sale of your house.

I'd add my welcome to the others ... we're also Texans (San Antonio), and about where you are. Just began the purge (depressing how BIG a task it is) and hope to be FREE by the end of the year. Best of luck to you going forward.

Welcome Kent and Sandy! You didn't mention if you planned to keep the truck camper or not, but many Full timers who have nice 5th Wheels purchase a TC for a trip to Alaska...FWIW
