Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
anyone know of a good stop & go RV park around Las Vegas? Just looking for a 1 night stopover as I go back to Denver from LA. Any opinions on Hitchin' Post RV Park near Nellis?
I'm not doing a stay to play which Oasis is good for that (I'm at Oasis now but too expensive IMO $50).

If you don't need hook ups for 1 night stop over, back of Bally's and Paris is where we stay for up to 3 nights when we do stay and play. Done so for several years. Oasis when we have family/friends with us and for typically a longer more chilled/relaxing vacational type stay.

We went to all the campgrounds in Vegas and they are either scary or pricey for a day rate. We stayed at Circus Circus which is a parking lot, but they don't charge a resort fee like many of the others do. If you can stay outisde of Vegas Valley of Fire has a cool campground with some sites big enough for big rigs.
Las Vegas Rv Resort. $29 paved pull thrus, gated, great people.
We loved Las Vegas RV Resort but a friends of our told us they were charging a hefty resort fee for a one night stay in the winter. Must be much cheaper in the summer.

Interesting. Have stayed at Las Vegas RV Resort for years (most recently in April) and never been hit with a resort fee. Perhaps its new?
You might try Canyon Trails RV Park in Boulder City. Quiet and safe. Nice little town with a relaxing main street walk. Close to Lake Mead and Boulder Dam.
