Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Please help comparison used class A's

Hi- we are looking at our 1st (hopefully last) class A.  we are 2 yr until retiring.  we hope to winter in warmer climate plus additional short trips throughout yr.  we have rv'd all our lives, owning several trailers and 2 class C's over the yrs.  Our current choice is between 2011 HR vacationer 30sfs and 2012 coachman mirada 29ds.  Both are in the $60 thousand range.   HR is 7-10K less, mileage similar at about 10K.  Is it about layout choice at this point or are there huge quality issues between the two?  Thank you for your responses in advance.

My wife and I just bought our first used or new to us 2004 Newmar Dutch Star. For us, the choices came down to the quality of the construction and layout. We wanted a diesel pusher vs gas. We wanted a rear bedroom with a queen bed, a mid-ship kitchen with table/chairs vs dinette, and a front living room with one sofa and recliners.

Our quality choice took us to Prevost, Tiffin, and Newmar. Our budget was $80K. So we found the unit we purchased and made the deal. And, we came in under budget! I would recommend the Newmar brand!
