Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Georgia

Have had the dream of full timing for a long long time....It's finally coming true. My wife and I sold our businesses and the house is listed with lots of bites coming already. We have contacted an estate sale company to sell everything else. Still don't have a clue where we will head first. We have been working so many hours for so long with no time off...no more than a long weekend for 15+ years so we really want to take a month or two in the sun and stare at the ocean and not much else. Have friends in Marco Island Fl...might head that way for a while. I'm really excited and ready, wife is cautiously optimistic. Anyway were gonna give this lifestyle a try.

PapaPhil,

Sorry locked up on me as we transit the Indian Reservation here in Ok. Usu. good service this area but must be storm effect got me.

"Am" partial to the swamps SE of there and the Florida Keys myself. Great fishing and scuba diving. My brother wanted to look at Pelican Lake Motor Coach Resort site sales and so all 4 coaches in our family caravan stopped there and listened to the under 2 hr sales pitch and site tour and we all got comped 4 days free full hookup sites. Nice touch IMHO. Nice Place and the price was right!!

Also liked Silver Lakes RV and Golf Resort near Naples. Also nice place. We prefer to stay at places with a security gate and limited access in case anyone sets off our security alarm while we are out and about so after checking the internet camera views we can call the front gate if necessary while we are gone. Not an issue for some.

Enjoy your retirement and new lifestyle!!

John
