Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We just returned to the Portland area (home base) with our new (to us) '07 Allegro Bus. I'm hoping to find a good shop to do regular annual service work, but also need to get our toad set up done, ( Ford F150), Dish Network hooked up, and a couple other minor hiccups looked at. I know there's a Tiffin dealer close by, (Gladstone), but I've heard some negative stuff about their service department that's discouraging, so I'm looking for other options. If all else fails, I'm thinking of using a shop in Centralia Washington called Brazel's RV Performance Center. They're about a 100 miles from me, but they have received tons of very good reviews on RV Service Reviews.com. Has anyone used them? Or are there other shops between say Portland and Eugene that you'd highly recommend? Thanks for the suggestions!
We've had work done by Brazel - they are a little more expensive than some others, but do very good work. I'm not sure that they do 'house' work, but call and ask. They also have a small RV park set up that you can use - they even do some of the work at your site so you don't have to move for some things. And great breakfast places in Centralia at Judy's and Berry Fields.
