Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
David and I retired at the end of February 2016 and are preparing to sell our sticks and bricks home and travel full time in our motorhome. David was a data analyst at a health care company in Toledo. I was the operations manager at a small company that marketed static control products. We have been married since 1979. We have lived in many places around the country, and we have close friends and family in South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, and Washington state, as well as our home state of Ohio. It will be fun to visit them all as we travel the country. Can't wait to go!
We attended the RV-Dreams Boondocking Rally in Tallahassee. We learned a lot about the workings of our motorhome, and it was fun to meet Howard and Linda and other current and future boondockers.
We are travelling in a 2008 Winnebago Destination, diesel class A. We tow a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT.

Congratulations! My husband and I want to do the same thing when it's time for us to retire. He's active duty Air Force and I'm a Special Education teacher. He was actually going to retire in 2015. He had all his paperwork submitted and approved but he took a promotion and had to stay in. It's all good. We'll get to that full time eventually.
Again, congratulations and hope your travels are full of happiness and memories.!
