Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Anyone have experience with a Trike lift on a motorhome?

Hi all, We continue with our researching and planning.   We saw Hydra-lift has a Trike lift for 3 wheel motorcycles now.   We're wondering if anyone has any experience with these or other systems for traveling with their Trike.

Have a Hydra-Lift on the back of my rig for the past 6 years for carrying motorcycles. Totally awesome, very well engineered, ruggedly built and completely reliable. Have hauled motorcycles all over the creation and cannot imagine a better solution in form or function. After about 5 years the seals got a a little leaky but never interfered with operation. After removing the cylinders myself only cost me $40 dollars cash per cylinder to have seals repaired. Hydra-lift recommends welding the unit to your frame.
Instead I had two steel plates welded to the frame and then using 3/4 inch; class 8 bolts, bolted the lift to the plates.  Highly recommend this unit. Good luck!

I'm interested in this topic, too. I have a Can-Am Spyder and when I start full-timing, I'll need either a toy-hauler or a trailer to pull with a MH.

Here is the link for Hydra-lifts Trike lift: hydralift-usa.com/trike-lift/

They also have Spyder lifts, golf carts, ATVs, etc....

We picked up our HD Triglide a week ago so another piece of the puzzle in place.

If you are interested, here is a link to an earlier RV Dreams discussion that includes a link to pictures of the Hydra-lift and motorcycle mounted on my rig.
