Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Got the airbags with the compressor and in cab remote controller with three memories (I'm using two of 'em ... One for loaded, one for unloaded). Pretty trick deal. Makes leveling the trailer pretty easy. I have 7" of bed rail to trailer clearance. This was definately the way to go ... thanks fellas for the good advice!!

I know this is a little old but I found a Michelin Tire Youtube video on obtaining individual wheel weights. This is the method I have used and was suggested by MarkS.
Double/Tripple towed recently. Cat scale with 4 adults in cab plus their personal belongings in RV. We traveled from SoCal to Scottsdale, AZ n back for bike week. Did not feel any different with MC trailer attached.
Just got weighed with our full time living configuration. I added about 100 lbs. to the truck in a generator, ladder, & a few misc. items so empty weight is a little heavier.
2016 F450 & 2014 DRV 38 TKSB3 - Fully Equipped
Steer Axle - 5360
Drive Axle - 8560
Trailer Axle - 14,980
Total - 28,900
Other Numbers
F450 GVW - 13,920 (80 lbs under ... I know no one cares about this # but I put it in here)
Trailer GVW - 19,220 (220 lbs over)
Tongue Weight - 4240 lbs.
Tongue Weight % - 22.1%
Added Weight - ~2,340 lbs.
If ignoring GVW weights for both truck & trailer .... with trailer 8,000 lbs axles and 22% tongue weight (assuming balanced left to right) you could technically go to 20,500 lbs Trailer GVW. This would add 270 lbs to the truck drive axles bringing the total to 8,830 lbs and the trailer axles to 15,990 lbs. So in my case the trailer axles will max out before the truck drive axles but I tow essentially empty by myself except for a Yamaha 2000i generator, ladder, gas can, & a few other maintenance items for the truck. This would change significantly if there were 4 or 5 passengers and/or other gear (see Cummins previous post)
