Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Travel Supreme Garage MHs

I have always been intrigued with mid engine diesel pushers with a rear garage that can take a small car.

Does anyone has experience with these coaches or know someone who owns them and their experiences?

I have hauled mostly 4 down behind and hated disconnecting to backup, although over the years i learned

how not to make mistakes in the first place.

But a garage was something i thought about....

1. Car remains clean

2. Shorter length of the coach and easy to park in tight spaces

3. Less wear and tear on the toad and its tires (although not so bad at 5k mi/yr)

However one loses storage bins since the engine is middle of the MH now

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

thanks

jim

If you consider price per foot of a motorhome that garage becomes very expenses. Tying the car down in the garage I would think is a chore in itself. I can hook my toad in about 3 minutes give or take a beer. 😃

I had a travel supreme a beautiful coach.......the bad , only certain cars fit....you lose a ton of basement storage and main floor storage due to mid chassis engine......found it difficult durring repair when the mechanic's need to open the kitchen floor to work and I know it cost alot more for them to do it.......tow it or buy a garage to tow it......never met anyone who loved a mid engine even hauling motor cycles
