Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Thanks! We will be with my wife's middle sister's family along with my wife's mother in the mountains of Southern California (nights around 28 F). My mother is doing well enough in rehab that she will be going to a friend's for dinner. Two weeks ago I made an emergency trip to Washington state when she went into the hospital, so I am thankful she is doing much better.

We are spending our third Winter in Mazatlán, Mexico where it will be in the high 80's today. The winter weather has not arrived here yet, I'm looking forward to five months of sunshine and temperatures in the high 70's.
Our Thanksgiving dinner will be shrimp. It's our new tradition.
I wish everyone on this great website a "Happy Thanksgiving".
Life is Good.

While I do like shrimp, I also like turkey. My wife does not like shrimp and either does her sister, so we will be having turkey. Did you know the domesticated turkey was bred from the Mexican Turkey, not the Wild Turkey of North America?
Edit: There will also be three pies, two made by my wife, Lemon Meringue and Sour Cream Raisin, and one by a niece, Chocolate Caramel. Since there will only be 6 or 7 of us, that is a lot of pie. Reminds me of the old parody song, Its the Most Fattening Time of the Year (Richard Simmons guest stars).

Thanks, Bernie. In reality, I think every day is a day for giving thanks for so many things. The beauty of this world still astounds me, "family of the blood" (immediate and direct relation family) and "family of the heart" (those we've met and come to love, including fellow RV'ers that we've only met online) are only the beginning of things to appreciate and be thankful for in our lives.
Blessings to all of you on this day and every day to come.
