Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I had an epiphany early this year and have been planning my full-time RV future since. I am in a place right now that everything is coming together and I have set a launch date of August 2016. I have neve been more determined to meet a deadline in my life! lol I'm here to learn, meet friends who are like minded, and get some help on what kind of rig to buy (I don't plan to purchase until July or August of next year because I am saving and I want to pay as much as I can up front). I'm going to be traveling solo and I am not mechanically inclined, so I may need lots of advice and recommendations! I look forward to reading, discussing, and learning from everyone.

Welcome!! It's true that during many people's journey to full timing things really fall into place and it feels like its meant to be. My husband and I say that's the universes sign you are doing the right thing. Don't be surprised if you hit a couple of road blocks where you really have to fight for it though. It means you want it!!
Welcome There are lots of women who travel solo. I have been reading a blog for about 3 years now that you might will like: RVSue and her Canine Crew. Google it for the correct address. You will enjoy it and learn lots from her. She started out as a newbie and has become quite the expert at camping, and she details everything she learns as she goes along. Also, she is an excellent writer and photographer. Enjoy Pat K

You are a lot more exact on your timeline than we are. We're aiming for early spring to late summer 2017. Lots of variables. First is selling my business. After that, it's selling the house, buying condo, buying RV, buying truck. Only then is it time for the road!
Charlie, thanks for the link. Sue looks interesting.
It's definitely worth fighting for! I've never been more sure of anything in s long time. Thank you for the encouragement!

The RVSue Blog is awesome! Thanks for the recommendation. I just got sidetracked for a very long while reading it!
