Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and brand new to RVing. I am looking for people with Sprinter Class B RV info. I have never owned an RV but have rented a few Class A's over the years. I have been researching my best fit. My main desire is adventure travel, mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking, rock climbing and Mexico travel - we live a very active life style. I have a 2+ year plan to research, talk to fellow RVers etc before I take the plunge on buying. I really like the Sprinter for it's size, fuel economy, drive-ability, and wife's OK!!!!. I would be doing 3 days to week-long trips at first in the Rocky Mountain area with the possibility of 2-4 months in Baja (winter) my wife would be in and out but not with me the entire time (her job). I am also considering a small light flat tow for local travel, 3500 Lbs car/jeep for longer trips.
Any info would be well received, any and all options are welcome.
While I can't help much on the RV questions, I can welcome you to the RV Dreams forum "family." This site is full of folks with information and advice on all kinds of RV's, as well as the RV lifestyle.
We've been living in our fifth wheel now for just over 4 years, although we aren't traveling much. Right now, Colorado is our "back yard" and may be for yet another two years. We have family in the Colorado Springs area. In fact, there are a number of Colorado residents on the forums here.
Good luck with your research and planning.
Terry
