Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi to all! We are the Stich's, Teri and Paul. We are several years out yet from living the dream but are starting to take the steps to make it happen. I have followed the RV-Dreams Blog off and on for several years and what an inspiration it has been. Right now our biggest holdbacks are of a financial nature (aren't most!) Will be looking at retirement in 3-4 years and that is when we want to hit the road. Paul is 62, I am 58. We look forward to learning so much and perhaps even finding a friend or two here. Oh and just for the record I, Teri, will probably being doing most of the posting.
Welcome, Teri and Paul. Since you have been lurking here for a while, you know quite a lot. And also know most of the right questions to ask as they come up. You've got a while to get it together before you hit the road and that's a good thing. Enjoy your hunt for an RV and keep us posted. Pat K

Welcome Teri & Paul. We are on a similar timeframe as you, though, if the cards fall exactly right we could go FT in 2017. We continue to plan for 2019 and inch up the date as we get a better handle on the various milestones we pass on the way to the promised land. Let the good times roll!
Hi Teri and Paul. We are also in the same boat as you guys. One thing we are amazed by is the number of people joining this forum, planning to "hit the road" within the next few years. It's good to know that you are not alone. We were also lurking for a while before joining in. As you probably already know, this is a FANTASTIC group of people to learn from!!!
