Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

SOLD -- 2013 Ford F450 Lariat for Sale

We have purchased a heavy duty truck and are selling our 2013 F450 Lariat. In terms of reliability, drivability, comfort, and power, this has been a fantastic truck. It may be the most comfortable, capable highway vehicle we have ever owned. The truck is under factory warranty until June ’16 or 36,000 miles. All service is up to date (7/18/15); original tires are in good shape; there are no problems on the horizon.

 

Available: September 20 or shortly thereafter

 

Price: $46,900

 

Odometer: 33,500 miles

 

Warranty: The truck is under factory warranty until June 13, 2016 or until 36,000 miles. It also has Ford's transferrable, set-to-stern extended warranty for five years (until June 13, 2018) and 125,000 miles.

 

Overall: Excellent condition, no accidents, clean title, solid white pearl metallic paint; turbocharged 6.7 liter PowerStroke diesel, 400 horsepower, 800 lb. torque; Automatic 6 speed transmission with tow haul; four wheel drive; dual rear wheels; rear gate pull-out step; factory prep for fifth wheel and gooseneck hitches.

June of 2015 on the warranty?  If that's an indicator that you bought the truck in 2012, does that indicate that the 5 year extended warranty is good until 2017, or perhaps a later year?

OK.  We posted at nearly the same time.  I edited my questions because I finally saw the 2015 reference in your original statement on the warranty.  So, when does the extended warranty end?

Terry,  Per the contract, the extended warranty coverage ends 6/13/2018 or at 125,000 miles.  Thanks for helping us clarify.
