Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Howdy to everyone reading this forum, our new family of campers that we are meeting every weekend! Rosie and I have only been doing this for short of 3 years now, and we can't wait for the next trip to start, every time we get back home! Currently we are driving around in a Jayco Greyhawk 31ss, and it has really been great, although a bit noisy on rough roads. I am sure that it will not be too long before we move up to an class A, now that my driving skills are becoming fine tuned, and thanks to all the fine folks that have helped me out.
Our home is near Buffalo, NY, so we know bad weather and bad football, hopefully that will change soon. We travel with Josie the 10 year old Bluetick Beagle, and she is truly a fine partner, learning to be pretty quiet in evenings, keeping the rv neat, and helping eat all the leftovers! I have been fishing for bass, competitively for about 30 years, but that's gotten old, as I have, so my Stratos is sold to a buddy that moved to The Villages in central FL. Rosie and I still work a bit, so I can't feel like a full timer for some years, but maybe some day soon... Our married Daughter lives pretty close to us also, so we take little Sophie and Vivian occasionally, and they really like fishing, swimming and diggin in the dirt, no I pads for those two. I hope to stay active in the forum, and to meet some of you personally on the road .
