Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Re-Introducing myself now as a doer and not a dreamer

Hello Everyone, some may remember me, Ive made a couple mistakes in posing in the wrong areas and have that figured out. I started my dreams of traveling several years ago and that dream had to be put on the back burner for a while. Now I have a 4 burner stove in a new used 1989 American Cobra.  Not the exact RV I was looking for however, with the condition and low miles I couldn't pass it up. So my house in on the market and Ill be leaving in the winter. Yes Winters in the Rockies can be beautiful however, not my first winter. the first person I corresponded with was Lucky Mike and Lucky Me to find such a knowledgeable person.  I have been from feeling elated to feeling panicked several times over the past three months. My furniture is gone and what I have left may not even need to be stored. Im ready and can't believe it is finally happening and whats more is Im finally ready and at peace in saying my good bye to a home that has served me well over the years.  No sure where I will land for the winter yet as I am getting a late start. However, I have been doing some research and calling around and feel confident I won't find myself in the elements of a Rocky Mountain Winter. So Im ready.  Glad to be a part of a wonderful community of people.

I remember reading your posts! And happy and safe travels to you. If you are in the north west; I would choose Southern Az. you can ponder on Quartzite as that is where the large Sawp Meet-Rock & Gem Show is in February; or New Mexico. The Rio Grande Valley in Texas is nice; but I hear quite dusty. happy trails!
