Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Workcamper Rodezvous?

Has anyone attended one of the Workamper Rondezvous in Heber Springs, Arkansas? If so, did you find it worth the expense (about $440 registration for the two of us if we register early for a three-day seminar)?

Thanks,

Rob

Have not attended any of the workamper seminars or rendezvous but have been wondering about it also. We just started our subscription in June and still trying to learn our way around the website, and now o course they've gone and changed it recently.
DH and I are new to all of this and just bought our class c in May. Put the house on the market, had a contract immediately and then 2 weeks after due diligence they backed out. Luckily there were other interested parties, so now it is back under contract again. Whew! Anyway didn't mean to ramble.
Congrats on the sale of your house and we hope you receive your new home soon.
Safe travels,
Bob & Doris

We attended three years ago and I HIGHLY recommend it. The staff does an excellent job of putting on the seminars; they are very informative. I don't think there are any questions you could come up with that they couldn't answer and give excellent direction and explanations.

We walked away deciding we could definitely workamp, something by the way, that Hubby was pretty much against before we attended. For me, the best result was that they resolved all the issues that Hubby had against workamping and how it wasn't possible for us. We ended up buying the gold membership (at his recommendation by the way) and though this year will be our first year workamping, just receiving the hotline emails with job listings, reading the magazine, and exploring the website we feel we are better prepared to negotiate a contract for a position than if we had not attended and become members.

We stayed at the COE campground outside of town and it was great!! We love COE campgrounds and this one was very well kept. Restrooms were super clean. We ended up staying an additional 5 days we enjoyed it so much.

So, if you are interested in workamping, I very much recommend the Rendezvous. They are great people and educators on the RV and workamping lifestyle.

Thanks, Candy. A few days ago we were both leaning away from attending Rendezvous... your response has us reconsidering.
