Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi, everyone. I'm 38, divorced, and I'm new to this RV thing (I stayed in an old pop-up a few times as a kid...lol). I've always gone to RV shows and randomly wondered about RV lots, but never had the time or money for one.
Now I'm looking to live in one. I don't plan on traveling the country or anything at this stage on my life, I'm still in school (yup, late bloomer, didn't go back till I was 34). So, even if I wanted to roam full-time, I can't, I'm still anchored (which is no bad thing). But I'm tired of renting a small room in someone's house, and we have multiple campgrounds around here where I can stay full-time (already checked with them ;)).
So, that's why I'm here, to avoid buying junk and learn more about the RV world, full-time and vacation lifestyles. I don't want to live in one forever (now, I might love it and never look back, who knows?) but one day after all my schooling when I have a career going, I'd like to travel. Especially the Black Hills....
So, that's a tiny slice of me.
Take care!
Chris
