Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Evin and I attended the finals of the Chile Challenge Pro-GRT Mountain Bike Race at Angel Fire Resort's Bike Park this past weekend. I took a few dozen photos and posted some of them on our blog, www.puppypaths.blogspot.com on June 21. While we were enjoying the race I noticed that Jim Merritt, Angel Fire Resort's Visual Media Producer, was taking photos also. I later went to his office and asked to see his photos so I could compare them to mine in hopes that I could learn from his expertise. Jim graciously shared his photos and gave me permission to post them on PUPPY PATHS so that others could enjoy them.
Jim also did a time-lapsed video of the recent "Balloon Over Angel Fire" that is really neat. It was featured on the Albuquerque television stations news recently and may be on Angel Fire Resort's Facebook page. I couldn't find it. I will contact Jim and post the link later on this topic page.
Hope you enjoy Jim's photos as much as I do.
I took some photos of the Pro Winners of the mountain bike race and went I went to the Women's Winner and Olympian Bronze Medalist Jill Kintner's Facebook page I found a link to a mountain biking video that I found to be "incredible". I later found the same video, "Danny MacAskill: The Ridge" to be on YouTube. To date, the video has had over 35,000,000 views. It is hauntingly beautiful 7 minute video that was filmed in Scotland's Skye on the Cuillin Ridgeline, one of Scotland's most treacherous landscapes.
