Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We have had Progressive on our camper for the last year. Looking for recommendations from readers here on what you all think is the best. Progressive is quite expensive, but we will pay for the right coverage. Thank you all, Patricia in La.
I will not get into what company is the best as it causes to much controversy. What I will say is look for companies that will cover your RV, you; others and the contents. Personally I use National General Ins. Had two small claims since 1998 and they were quick to take care of them.
Many here will chime in. You can research the companies on the search button above of Rvers comments. Pieere

Also use National Interstate through Miller Insurance out of Oregon. They offer full replacement value even on used units
We've done the same with exceptional results. While the only claim we have had has been to repair two rock chips in a pickup windshield, they have been quick and proficient. In fact, the second rock chip occurred while we were on a trip from Colorado to Idaho and back. I waited until we got back so the same guy that fixed our first one could fix the second. When we called in to verify the claim, the agent at National Interstate asked me why I had waited so long to get the second one fixed.
In addition, Marlene at Miller Insurance even went so far as to call us and thank us for recommending them after someone on the forums got insurance through them and mentioned that we had suggested them. How many brokers are likely to make that kind of phone call.

We used Miller Insurance Agency out in Oregon and they got us set up with Allied insurance and both have been great. Stevia at Miller was awesome and very helpful and patient with me. We recently had to put in a claim with Allied after a booboo at the gas pump and they were terrific! So far ee sre very pleased.

no dinghy yet...still searching
Yesterday, Marlene @ Miller quoted me 1150 a year for the truck and trailer. Actually she quoted 828 until we added my two speeding tickets. That includes full replacement cost of the fiver and 100/300, 500 deductible. This is much cheaper than any other quote. We still need to add the Smart.

We also use them. We've had several claims in just the past year alone, and they've been fantastic! We deal with Stevia at Miller. Our payment is about $1600 for the year, which includes both the RV and the truck.
