Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
So where is everyone at right now? I will start - we are in Sanger, Texas at a nice little RV park - enjoying our time that we have left in Texas - we will be here until October 1st - then off to Colorado and Utah!!!

The easiest way to see where people are is to join RVillage at RVillage.com and join the RV-Dreams group. From there you can see where other members are. As long as they check in when they change locations.
Jo and I are in Colorado and have been for almost a year. We are at Mountaindale Cabins and RV Resort between Colorado Springs and Canon City off of highway 115. Beautiful setting and much, much better than any RV park in either Colorado Springs or Canon City. We'll likely be here for another year or two before we start moving around more.

Terry - good to know! We will head to Almont, Colorado before heading to Utah - but then we have to decide if we want to hang in Utah for six months to a year - or go back to Colorado - or head to Montana! So many decisions :)

We are in Woodland Park, CO, just up the "hill" from Terry and Jo. Will be here until October. Diamond Campground.

Linda and I, along with Neil and Connie, are in Dawson Creek, BC getting ready to head up the Alcan to Alaska. (Best internet connection we've had since we left home. Amazing where you do and don't find b/w in campgrounds.)
Very nice trip here crossing over in Manitoba and coming across TransCan 16 to Edmonton before turning north.
We'll be more or less "up here" for over 2 months before heading back to the states.
We are camphosting in Ridgeway State Park on the beautiful Westslope of Colorado. (on hwy 550, between Montrose and Ouray) Would love to meet anyone that is headed this way. We will be here thru Labor Day.
I have been enjoying your travel photos. Evin, the PUPS and I are at the new, still under construction, Angel Fire RV Resort in Angel Fire, New Mexico. We have been here three weeks and are still finding lots to see, do and taste. Evin and I just attended the finals of a Pro mountain bike downhill race for the first time. I also recently attended my first hot air balloon festival, also here at Angel Fire.
We plan to head to Colorado Springs and visit our grandson at the Air Force Academy once we leave here. We are still finding lots to do and I am posting our activities on PUPPY PATHS. Have slowed down a little on flower pics. However, I saw a bunch blooming in Taos yesterday and when it stops raining I will go take some flower shots for you, Bill.
Be safe in your travels. Keep in touch,
Steve

We're at mountain home Rv park in mountain home, idaho for a month.
It's s great park and a fantastic value with its monthly rates.
After this we go to island park, Idaho for a few days then off on a trip to Europe for a couple of weeks (no rv).
Hoping to be settled in Cherokee, NC by mid-July. Have had some delays in getting our mini-house finished and phone and internet service has been a nightmare. Unfortunately, I still have to work full-time and those two services are essential. Keeping my fingers, knees and toes crossed...
Hey Sue and Paul!! I talked to a friend of mine from Payson, AZ and he is in Lake Havasu City with his family. Said it was 115 degrees today. Come join Evin and me in Angel Fire, NM. It is 57 degrees right now!!
We are in Columbia Falls Montana for a few more days then move a entire 80 miles to Polson Montana for the 4th of July holiday before moving towards Yellowstone and eventually into Utah for the month of Sept.
We keep our location current on RVillage.com. Right now we are at Eagle's Nest Resort in Ilwaco, WA. There are 12 RV-Dream Community members within 25 miles of us.

We are in Sarasota Florida for a few weeks, will start working our way towards Indiana in the next few weeks, going to the Redwood Factory Rally the first week of August.
We are at the Thunderbird RV Park in Monroe, WA. We also keep current on RVILLIAGE even though it looks like many folks are not. Will cruise around Washington till September before heading toward Utah.

115 sounds about right! we took the truck camper and escaped to Flagstaff. Can't go too far because we need to check up on the builder
I see from your blog that it looks like the foundation is just being done. I enjoyed the dove on the cactus photo.
Stay cool. Heard from "Big Steve" today. I featured one of their favorite restaurants in Taos, Michael's Kitchen, on PUPPY PATHS. He said my photos made him hungry and that he had just eaten.

Now, that is coincidental. We are planning a trip on Tuesday of this week over and check out Molas Lake Campground, which is located roughly 5 miles south of Silverton and will be going through Montrose and Ouray. However, we likely won't have time to stop because we are planning a camping trip (with tents) for late August and want to see if Molas Lake suits our likes. If not, we'll head home and do a side trip to check out Williams Creek campground, which is south of Lake City. Since it is a day trip, we wouldn't be able to visit, but we'll just have to wait and see.

There is another coincidence. We took a drive to Mountain Home for two weeks back around the first of the month. Jo's sister wanted to go up to give some sewing/embroidery lessons to their cousin's wife, who just recently bought an embroidery machine. However, we might have left before you got to Mountain Home.

South of Lake Tahoe, CA to do some fiishing with our kids. Then off to Tetons, Yellowstone & Glacier for the summer before heading to UT & AZ for the fall.
Still right here in Lebanon TN. Healing and contemplating on whether to make my next adventure become reality. I really miss being out traveling and meeting new people.

We are at the Escapees Park in Livingston for 3 weeks. I offered to volunteer at the CARE center here. If you are ever in the area they can always use help even if it is just a couple hours a day.
I contacted them a head of time and completed the paperwork before we arrived. CARE is the website if you are interested in learning more.

Marcus Island, NPS CG Marcus WA. Wandering the great NW wilderness for the past month. Camping along the Columbia River for a couple weeks. No itinerary laid out, just going with flow. Life is good, but the temps are out of control for this area, it's consistently 100* everyday. Makes for a lot of time in & on the water. An hour plus a day doing what I've done my whole life, swimming upstream. The balance is the return swim, it's a piece of cake. Safe.
Now if you were on the Washington coast, you'd find a jacket at night handy. It is sunny, high today of maybe 70, on shore winds. Perfect for walking on the beach.

We'll be there till aug. 11, then have 3 weeks to roam, then off to mesa, we hope. So wow, just may see ya!!! Where will you be staying? We'll be at Rancho Verde.
Had a feeling that"s where you'd be, very nice. We have seen many a video on that park, But for us right now that's a wee bit out of budget. I'm so much looking forward to new scenery, outside, of Flaggstaff and Phoenix area that's all new to us. I think Distant Drums is out the other side from Ranch Verde isn't it? Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy it all...
We're in the Seattle area, we've been in a couple of different locations over the past month, looking forward to escaping to the Olympic Peninsula this weekend. Seattle has been HOT for the last 2 weeks, breaking several weather records, makes me very thankful for 50 AMP and 2 A/Cs'. We're in Western WA until the last month of July then headed to north ID until Labor Day weekend.
Hi Terry and Jo, I joined this group a few years ago, then my oldest son was in a bad car accident and had o come home. He has recovered and moved on. I live in Colorado, Denver . Just purchased an older model RV and should be on my way early fall. How was it wintering in Colorado? I have so much to learn. Can you suggest any medium cost parks? Im excited and nervous all at the same time to be doing this alone with my pets. Can I ask what the name of the RV park is where you are staying? ..... Gail
We are in Hot Springs Village AR. waiting for the new altenator for Mona. Luckily my parents have a condo here and we are enjoying the area. Then off to Middleton TN to put a new floor in then North to where ever.
