Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
My DH and I are taking our lessons through RV Driving School this weekend. He has been driving with rv's in tow for some time, but last year was his first season with a larger rv in tow. He did great, but we figure there may always be new tips and tricks to learned and safety is important. Now, on to me---I have only once in an emergency health situation ever towed anything and am a bit nervous about my first upcoming experience. It will probably be like everything else that I get anxious about----nothing to have really worried about in the first place. We've really liked dealing with the driving school so far. They have been professional, helpful and informative. We need to travel 3 hours from home to Augusta Maine in order to meet up with our instructor who also gave us information regarding a good easy on and off the highway park to stay at Saturday night. So, we should be experts by the end of the weekend (HA!) and hopefully, all my nervousness in advance will be for nothing. Please, don't anyone say "Break a leg". I don't want to have to worry about that too.

Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.
Take a deep breath and relax!! I know, easy to say, but I truly do understand. I took RV driving school a little over a year ago, I am still by no means an expert, but it's not as hard as I thought it would be. I still primarily help with the highway driving, but it's a huge help for those longer travel days or days like last Saturday when Dale's wrist was really hurting him.
