Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'ts been a lengthy process and a little bit of a struggle but we will finally claim our little piece of heaven by 6-9-15! We chose to go with an older coach after seeing her sitting in a parking lot in Barberton Ohio.
I looked at my girlfriend Mia and said "You know i think that she might be just what we need"!. We had entertained the idea of RVing anyway, and after going to a few shows and seeing prices of coaches and other units... we decided to give the owner a call to see what she had to offer. Turns out he only used her to pull his race car to the track and back he knew the previous owner as well and they combined had only put 53 k miles on her so shes barely broken in! This was about a year ago we did that and i've spent countless hours on Do It yourself Rv.com and youtube watching videos and reading up on how to do things and what happens when you don't do things right. Found out that my girlfriend suffers from seasonal anxiety and her therapist said frankly"You don't need to be in Ohio'!.... So that set our course!. I had lived in Panama City Fla. for 4 years and both of us being ocean lovers.... there was another match that had us written all over it! So our 1986 37' Travelmaster Palm Beach M-360MB Gas Class A has upgrades planned for it as well as a new home in Florida!. Hope to meet as many along the way as possible!
Congratulations!! Grew up in Ohio and I totally agree the weather is not the best. Only 75 sunny days a year or so I'm told. We've been on the road for 6 months and I've seen more sun than I ever saw growing up there :) Have a blast!!
