Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well....It's been converted. Known probs are the valve switches on the dump tanks are stiff and causing a leak. The carb for the gen is missing and it needs new tires. Theres no couch or table in it, but the fridge, a/c, heat and plumbing are supposed to be good...
You think thats a high price? Ive been looking online and a lot of them are around 20-80K
Can u see it here? Unfortunately, it's the only pic I have...It used to belong to a family friend...
Why do you want such an old unit? Are you seeking to bring it back to 'standard', refurbish a classic, etc.? If so, sounds like a lot of work. What is your renovation budget? And leaking holding tanks aren't fun. What about the engine/transmission? How many miles, what is the log for maintenance like?
Not something I would be interested in, but for those that like project, it might be just what they want.

Another question to ask is how long the RV may have just sat parked and not driven. With a motorhome/bus, there can be issues with seals and what-not in the engine and transmission and rear differential if they haven't been driven on a regular basis.

Having just put a deposit on a 2000 coach we definitely understand the allure of an older coach. Bottom line is if you're happy that's what matters.
Having said that, this sounds scary unless you are looking for a project to restore. If you want something to hit the road in a few weeks this might not be it unless you got the deep "family fried" discount.
Best of luck!
