Our RV sits out 365 days per year. Most of the time I can wipe it down using a duster type brush.

At least once per year I will rinse it off using a long handled brush attached to my garden hose. The brush knocks off the dirt and the water rinses it away. Most RV parks will allow you to wash your RV if you use your own water.

Many of the parks we stay in have mobile RV detailers that are allowed to work in the park. The cost runs from $65 to $110+ for just a wash or up to $600 for detailing (Average $350)

When travelling, if the RV gets real dirty then I find a coin operated wash with large bays (many have special bays for trucks and RVs).

We carry a pressure washer and deionized water system with us and wash when needed if the campground allows it. With deionized water you don't have to dry which helps. 40' MH takes me a about an hour and a half to wash. Last week I waxed it (paint sealant) which took about 4 hours. I like to wax twice a year.

Or you could use something like WashWaxAll waterless wash.

Just finished washing our rig today with Wash Wax All by Aero Products. Have been using this for 1 1/2 years and really love it. It removes the dirt easily and leaves a nice deep shine. I highly recommend you purchase the entire starter kit as the mop heads and extendable handle make the job so much easier. You can find it at www.washwaxall.com .

Thanks folks! We checked and the RV park where we were staying allowed washing. The beast had gotten so dirty when traveling through Yellowstone (snow, mud, etc.), so we gave it a thorough wash. Now, a few weeks later, we opted for a soft cloth "dusting". I really appreciate the advice!

X2 on WashWaxAll - I saw this demo'ed at the Forest River International Rally last year and was sold! When used regularly (@ 3 times a year) it is almost like using a dust mop on your rig! Couldn't be easier!
