Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Problem with my jacks

Yesterday I went to put my jacks down so I turned my ignition on (without starting the engine) and turned on my toggle switch. The lights lit up so I went to lower my jacks but nothing happened. I noticed the LF (left forward) light was on so I tried to raise that jack but nothing happened. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions what could be wrong.

Ours won't go down when we turn to start engine, only go down on 'accessories' setting. Will come up with engine running. Also, what model, HWH makes several different kinds. Would also be helpful to know what type of RV you've got.

A few years ago I was low on hydraulic fluid in my system. The jacks stopped working. I filled it up and it worked just fine.

No other maintenance in the last two years.

HWH, http://www.hwhcorp.com/, has manuals you can download with troubleshooting sections.

Not sure what model they are. My RV is a 1994 Rexhall Aerbus 3300.

YES as Bill said......Go to the HWH site and go into the "Tech" section. They have a section in there to help ID you system. If any thing just call HWH tech support. They are great for support. Have the information off of the control box(model #'s), that will help them lots. Hopefully this one hasn't been tampered with. I am working on one right now. Someone had changed the control board at some time but it has the wrong program in the chip. So now the system is sequencing wrong. After I gave #'s off the circuit board......They ID'd it was the wrong chip. They are sending me the new chip with the proper program on it.

Update on my job......New chip arrived today. Installed it and it works as it should. That was great customer service from HWH. It actually came FAST and "undamaged" with UPS.
Hey Colorado Kid, did you ID what model you have yet?
