Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Ok...need help getting around blogging lol.

Can't figure how to blog and respond to members who responded to my questions. Everyone has been so wonderful and I'd like to respond to their blogs but can't figure out how to find their blogs to re-read them. Thank you Folks.

I have the addresses to the ones I read saved as a favorite, some I get as an email.

I'm not sure how to help you find people's blogs - Google the name of it? If you don't know the name - maybe look in your history?

Sorry - I'm probably not the best one to help - not as tech/blog savvy as others.

Good luck!

Look at their signatures - most of those who have a blog have their URL as part of their signature. And most will either have a place for your to comment or will have a link on the blog for you to email them with question like we do.

Interesting. Blogs are web journals, while this is a web forum. A forum is where groups of people can post questions and answers in an organized manner. A blog is where someone creates something like a diary and you might be able to comment on each entry, but each entry is marked by a date. Many RVers use blogs to document their days or travels, or sometimes they use a blog as a simple website.

GeeksOnTour, who sometimes post here, have some nice tutorial videos on blogs, the intro ones are free - http://geeksontour.tv/learning-library/.

Do you mean blog or post on a forum?

Most blogs and this forum have a box to check if you want to be notified when others respond to that post or that thread - generally found at the bottom of the page after you enter your comment.

You can usually "subscribe" to blogs you like to follow - look for the box on the side of the blog and enter your email address.

Have fun!

The best way to follow other blogs is by using the blogger crawler. To use this you must have a google gmail account. It allows you to save the url of all blogs that you want to follow. You just log into your blogger account and it will show you in date order any new posts on all of the blogs that you follow. You then just click on the title and it will take you directly to the blog. I follow about 20 blogs and this makes it very easy. Just go to one place and look at the new posts. The blogs do not have to be blogger blogs. I follow Howard and Linda this way.

Let me know if you have any questions.
