Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
It seems to be one learning curve/challenge after another this month, and it's been costing me a fortune to have the repair an out, so hopefully I can solve this with your help.
I've checked the valves, they are turned on at the wall behind the washer.
The water lines run under the gooseneck and nothing seems amiss, and all other water in the camper runs just fine.
So where and for what should I be looking to determine why there is no water to the washer or sprayer?
In one part of his post, Mitch was referring to a "water manifold" that allows one to turn off the water to certain areas of the trailer, and many times one can turn of specific valves. If your RV has one of those in the basement/underbelly, I would imagine that most of the labeled valves should be turned the same direction as all the others. If some aren't, then see how those are labeled as to whether it is where your problem is located.
Like Mitch said, if the toilet sprayer doesn't work but the toilet does, you have a different issue, probably with the valve at the toilet.

I just had to rebuild the head (easier than I thought). Go to the manufacturers website and they should have a view of all the parts and pieces. This is possibly a value, if the toilet works then they sprayer has water going to it also. Are the valves turned on back of the washer?
Best place for parts is EBAY or Amazon. FWIW
So far the water is working just fine everywhere else, thank goodness.
However there is no valve behind or anywhere on the toilet that I can find.
I'm calling for repair in the morning, and will chalk it up to another pricey lesson.
Thanks for your suggestions, they got me to take a good luck at the water system.
Ouch, my wallet!!
The good news is the repairman solved the water issue very quickly. Turns out someone (probably my cousin when she visited) stopped the machine mid cycle during it's last cycle and it just needed to be reset. All is working as it should and I can get caught up on laundry now--yay!
As for the spray in the commode, with this new toilet one has to flush the toilet to get the water to run to the spray, and that's in good shape too.
It was worth the service call, and I wont soon forget what I learned today.
Sometimes the best money you can spend is to hire a mobile tech to come out and go through all of the systems with you as you tape so that you can learn (and have a record of) what each switch does, where the valves are, etc. Especially if you didn't get a good PDI, this could save you time/money/headaches down the line.
