Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
In the interest of saving space and dual functionality, I'm hoping to find a fan which I can use when it's hot out, and one which has a heat function for when it's chilly outside.
Anyone ever seen one which has both functions?
If not I'll spring for a fan and for a heater, but wouldn't it be nice if one unit did both jobs?
Though I could also be quite happy with one of those tiny wood stove looking electric heaters, they are darn cute!
its funny you mention it......I saw a tower at the tractor supply up here in N.H yesterday that does both and has a remote....nice wood grain cabinet /infra red heat tubes......100.00
I'll stop later on today and get there website for you in case your interested

I bought a small electric fireplace for my Dad's room it had heater and fan function. It measures about 20 inches tall, 18 inches wide and less than one foot deep. It worked well to keep his 10 X 12 bedroom toasty in winter and provided a nice gentle breeze in summer. Plus the ambiance of the fake fire.
I don't remeber where I got it.
Similar to this but a little smaller. Turn the thermostat knob to low and no heat is produced just cool air blows.
Mike that sounds exactly like what I was thinking of, but if I can get it in a wood stove style that will be even better.
I had a few in my old house, but none had the fan without heat function, so I'm glad that feature's available in the tiny size I need for our fifth wheel.
I'm gonna go order one now--thanks you guys!
