Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Texas!

Hello, everyone! My name is Alana, and although I'm a proud Texan, I dream of RV'ing! I'm a single, young lady a part of a new generation that is settling down later in life, and in the meantime, longing to travel. In 6 months, I will finish school and begin a career that will allow me to work from anywhere in the world, provided I have an internet connection. I ultimately plan to take advantage of that by having an RV as my home and moving every 9-12 months. Until that time, I'm doing plenty of research and saving all the money I can.

Being a solo female traveler, I especially look forward to connecting with other solo female RVers. I welcome any tips, advice, and insight.

I'm also so very thankful that the Paynes created this site. It's been a HUGE help to me!!

Looking forward to the friendships I believe will be created through this site!

Welcome! It is interesting to me that the face of RVing has changed so much since I first realized that a lot of people actually full-timed. That was 20 years ago and to see anyone full-timing that wasn't retired was unusual. It is a whole new world with opportunities for people/families of all ages in the lifestyle. Now, everyone fits!

Welcome Alana!

It is just great that you can use your schooling to work anywhere.

This new economy may be a lot of frustration, but the new technology that lets us work from anywhere is fantastic!

I love to see young people joining us old folks on the road! You can be single or not, gay or straight you'll find friends and help on this site. Be sure and also follow Technomadia as they have great info on working on the road and technology.

Hi Alana!

Cool you get to get out of school and into a field you can take with you, sure wish I did that 20 years ago. :) I did my settling down young, but now in my 40's as a young-at-heart single solo female. Have the rig, now just need to figure out the income part to be able to get out there on the road full time.

Best of luck!!
