Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I went full time Aug 2012 after the Lord called my wife of 43 years. She fought cancer for the last six years.

The RVing community and members of the Montana Owners Club have helped me survive these last two years.

I did 20 years USMC and 20 more with the Federal Government. During that time I saw 40 countries. Now I am on the road seeing the US of A. I currently have 41 states filled on my RVing map. This coming summer I plan on getting the six New England states and the finish ND and MN after that.

My Monty is set up for Boondocking with solar and a pair of Honda 2000 generators.  I like Casino parking lots instead of truck stops or Wal Marts.

I just finished a 5 week trip through Canada to Alaska and back towing 6500 miles. One lesson learned, slow down it was to short a time to enjoy it.

My blog is hjohnk.blogspot.com

ham call KO4A

Safe travels all.

You're really moving! That is great! I think your schedule would be exhausting for us but there is a lot to see. Maybe when you finish, you can go back and hit those areas/spots that would be of most interest? I'm anxious to check out your blog spot.

Checked it out and loved the photos!

Welcome! Sorry for your loss. You found yourself a great site with the RV Dreams family. We have met some great people at the Rally's so if you ever get the chance to attend one I highly recommend it.

In 2013 we travelled from BC, to the Yukon and Alaska in 3 months. I couldn't imagine doing it in 5 weeks!

Safe travels!

John, Welcome to RV Dreams..the folks here are as knowledgeable and amicable as the MOC. Hope all is well with you and your travels have been good. We are planning to be at the Q in January for the MOC rally and staying until April regardless of weather this year so hopefully we can get together. Safe travels, Les
